OkeeDokee, based within Sussex, England, play an
infectious blend of traditional folk, and folk/rock/blues fusion

Their fun-based performance includes guitars, mandolin, sax,
tuba, accordions, drums and whistle, and percussion that
includes zobstick, duck call, bicycle bell, scrapers, toy sound
generators, colanders, and anything else they can lay their hands on.

Members are also solo perfomers or play in further folk
outfits - and Keef wrote the lyrics for Jona Lewie's international
hit: "You'll Always Find Me in the Kitchen at Parties.

The OkeeDokee Band - what can I say? With an array of instruments, several vocalists, a selection of hats, props and banners such as are rarely seen at a folk festival this is one band that never fails to raise the spirits.
Clever song writing, with sing-a-long choruses and playalong cans of dried peas guarantee a good time will be had by all. Highly recommended as a glorious antidote to all of those bands who sometimes take it all a bit too seriously!"
